The Academy was founded by Remco and Patrick Evenepoel, with the ambition to help young people discover cycling and develop their skills in this sport.
All young people between the ages of 10 and 16 can register for the test days in September. For higher categories, this is done by appointment.

A racing bike is mandatory. MTBs can be borrowed during the winter. The helmet and clothing provided by the Academy must be worn during every training session and competition.

Yes, sometimes a mechanic is present during training sessions. Sports nutrition can also be provided.

Each rider is responsible for their own bicycle, but staff are on hand to assist. Specific repairs are at the riders’ expense.

It is essential to respect the traffic rules and always follow the instructions of the guides.

Yes, the coaches assess whether the young people are ready to participate.

Registrations are done individually, in consultation with a programme drawn up with the coaches.

No, parents are not allowed to ride along or follow the training sessions by car.

A social coordinator and a nutritionist are part of the staff, but there is no specific psychological follow-up.

Going to hospital. Insurance is included in the Cycling Flanders licence and covers all cycling trips (Academy or otherwise).

Parents must park outside the grounds only.

Yes, this is included in the registration fee. Please note: the training sessions take place on public roads, not on a closed circuit.
